Texas Panhandle Welcomes New Mobile Resource Lab
Workforce Solutions Panhandle Brings Workforce Services to Rural Areas

A new Mobile Resource Lab, designed to bring workforce services to rural areas, is making its way throughout the Texas Panhandle, with regular scheduled stops in Childress, Dalhart, Dimmitt, Dumas, Pampa, Perryton, and Tulia.

The Mobile Workforce Unit is a moving extension of the Workforce Center, bringing services directly to customers in need, through the multiple computer stations with internet access that allow job seekers to search for jobs, and improve their resumes where needed.

Our Mobile Resource Lab assists job seekers in:

  • Work Registration in
  • Online job applications
  • Assistance with resume writing
  • Information on Training and Child Care Services
  • Information on Adult Education & Literacy Programs
  • Handicap accessible – wheelchair lift and handicap accessible workstation

Employers are also encouraged to either call or visit the Mobile Resource Lab for assistance in filling open job vacancies. Jobs are posted at, at no cost. Job postings are matched to almost 350,000 active Texas Job seekers to help find the right candidate.

All services to both employers and job seekers are provided at no cost.
