Our Mobile Workforce Unit, which is designed to bring workforce services to rural areas, makes its way throughout the Texas Panhandle, with regularly scheduled stops in Childress, Dimmitt, Dumas, Pampa, Perryton, and Tulia.
The Mobile Workforce Unit is an extension of the Workforce Solutions Center, bringing services directly to rural customers, providing multiple computer stations with internet access which allows them to search for jobs, and improve their resumes where needed.
Our Mobile Workforce Unit staff assists job seekers in:

- Online job applications
- Assistance with resume writing
- Information on Training and Child Care Services
- Information on Adult Education & Literacy Programs
This vehicle is fully accessible and equipped with a wheelchair lift and accessible workstation.
Employers are encouraged to either call or visit the Mobile Workforce Unit for assistance in filling job vacancies, which are posted at WorkInTexas.com. Job postings are matched to almost 350,000 Texas Job seekers to help employers find the right candidate.
All services for both employers and job seekers are provided at no cost.
