By law, certain individuals, such as eligible veterans and eligible foster youth, must receive priority over all other equally qualified individuals in the receipt of workforce services. This includes precedence to use resources in our workforce centers, priority access to our staff, and priority access to training programs.
Priority Service for Veterans & Spouses of Veterans
As a veteran or eligible spouse, you receive priority in the services we offer, including job referrals, access to job training and staff resources.
Priority Service for Foster Youth
We assist Foster Youth under the WIOA Youth Program for services such as occupational training or on the job training, as well as supportive services to assist Foster Youth to obtain or retain employment.
Services for Individuals with Other Barriers to Employment
Individuals who are experiencing difficulty finding employment can benefit from the specialized services offered at Workforce Solutions Panhandle.
Priority Service for Low Income Individuals
Looking for work can be a costly endeavor and Workforce Solutions Panhandle can help those who may not have adequate resources.
