Eligible Training Provider System (ETPS)

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is designed to help job seekers secure the employment, education, training and support services necessary to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.  WIOA requires Local Workforce Development Boards to target high-growth, high-demand and emerging occupations within their local workforce development areas.

The WIOA program can assist individuals with the costs of training in the Panhandle once eligibility is determined at Workforce Solutions Panhandle.

Training providers who want to receive WIOA funds must apply to become a Certified Training Provider.  Currently, in the Panhandle, assistance may be available for students in these Certified programs:
