Workshops to Meet Your Employment Goals
In preparation for the job fair, Workforce Solutions Panhandle will be hosting In-Person Jobseeker Workshops on Monday, October 7th, 2024, at 3120 Eddy, Amarillo, TX 79106. These workshops, presented as part of the Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) program, are open to all job seekers and will focus on key skills like résumé building, networking, and job fair strategies.
The sessions include:
- 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Résumé Essentials
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: LUNCH Provided
- 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Create Your Résumé, Writing Workshop
- 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Networking and Professional Introduction at Job Fairs
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Job Fair Strategies and On-the-Spot Interviews
These workshops offer an opportunity to sharpen your job search skills and gain confidence before the Fall Amarillo Job Fair.
